Final testing for version 1.0.2.0 almost done
posted May 29, 2011, 7:08 PM by Roberto Concepcion
One major addition is the support for international keyboard layouts. There are other several minor additions and feature enhancements.
Support for international keyboards was a bit hard to implement. It required lots and lots of research and experimentation - "the price of being creative". *Sigh*. Writing the code only took a few hours. Testing seem to always take forever. Especially in this case, since I only have one keyboard. :-)

New Version(0.0.1.4) Available
posted Dec 17, 2010, 11:57 PM by Roberto Concepcion [ updated Dec 18, 2010, 12:17 AM ]
About the update
Version 0.0.1.4 has a few important features and bug fixes. A new auto-save feature was added. Window painting should be a little bit faster. An important fix to an issue where application settings are not saved when rebooting or shutting down the OS.
Project Status
I think Alpha 1 is done for now. I will focus on adding some GUI improvements for Alpha 2. As always, I will continue to add critical features and fix bugs if I find any. I started a more rigorous testing approach but for the most part I only find problems because I use the program daily.
Happy Holidays everyone!!!
New Version(0.0.1.3) Available
posted Dec 7, 2010, 11:04 PM by Roberto Concepcion [ updated Dec 7, 2010, 11:28 PM ]
About the update
Version 0.0.1.3 does not have many new features or fixes. I wanted to start clean before I begin working on the final major feature I want to add for Alpha 1. Alpha 2 will only have bug fixes(if any) and GUI enhancements.
Project Status
Well, I downloaded VB .Net 2010 Express Edition(free version) 2 months ago and started working on MadAppLauncher while learning VB. I uploaded the first alpha release(0.0.1.1) on November 11. Almost a month later, over 700 people have downloaded the program on Softpedia.com and sf.net. I want to add many more features but I need to start working on another project, so I am only adding the most important and useful ones :(. I use this program every day and I hope you find it useful as well. Happy Holidays everyone!!!

In the process of moving data from SF. Sorry all. Maintaining this particular software is easier for me using Google site and I think it's simpler for end users as well.
